Southern Puerto Rico’s Pilot Economic Development District
Your Voice Matters. Help Write Southern Puerto Rico’s Future
In April 2020, a group of civic organizations, non-profits, universities, businesses, and government offices started gathering data and input for a regionally driven economic development strategy to build good jobs and more regional economic prosperity. The Pilot Southern Puerto Rico Economic Development District Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (SPREDD-CEDS) is now available for your review and comment.
This initiative creates the first-ever EDD in Puerto Rico and includes the municipalities of Yauco, Guánica, Guayanilla, Peňuelas, Ponce, and Juana Díaz.
